We build electric pipe heaters for one reason: to aim infrared heat exactly where you need it. And it all starts with getting the power right. Before we even talk wattage, we look at the space. Where’s the room facing? How well is it insulated? A south-facing room that bleeds heat needs a higher watt density than a tight, well-insulated interior. The electrical side is straightforward—no guesswork. These heaters run on standard industrial voltages, often 400V, because industrial heating needs serious muscle. Take a 300mm tube, for example—it can be rated at 2500W. That’s a lot of heat packed into a small footprint. Plan your wiring and cooling ahead of time. High power density means the surrounding components have to handle a real thermal load.
What Carries the Heat
The heating element is a quartz tube, and it’s a great choice. It responds fast and can take extreme temperatures without flinching. Inside, halogen gas helps transfer heat quickly while protecting the filament. We also add a specialized coating that shapes the emission spectrum, focusing the energy into shortwave infrared for faster, more direct heating. Installation stays simple because we stick with industry-standard connectors. The R7s base is proven in high-wattage lamps, giving you a solid mechanical and electrical connection. For higher-power setups, we spec the Sk15 connector, which handles the current without getting hot under pressure. These aren’t delicate parts. They’re shop-floor tough, made to take a beating and still keep performing.
