Making Your Space Warm (And Keeping it Smart)
We built these waterproof table heaters for a very specific reason: some places are just too messy or damp for a normal heater. Whether you’re dealing with a misty patio or a humid workshop, you need something that won’t fry the moment a bit of dust or a splash of water hits it. That’s where the IP55 rating comes in. It basically means you can stop worrying about the elements and just enjoy the heat.
Heat That Actually Hits You
Here is the secret: we use short-wave infrared. Most heaters try to warm up all the air in the room, which takes forever. Infrared is different. It sends energy straight to you—or whatever it’s pointed at. We used high-density elements that get hot in seconds. No waiting around. No “pre-heating” phase. You flip the switch, and you feel it immediately.
Making it “Smart”
Nobody wants to get up and fiddle with a dial when they’re already cozy. To fix that, we linked the power side of the heater to Smart home hubs using Zigbee or Wi-Fi. It’s pretty simple. You tell your phone or your voice assistant to turn it on, a signal hits the controller, and the lamp glows. Because we aren’t waiting for a whole room to warm up, the response feels instant. It just works.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Now, there’s a trade-off. When you seal a high-power heater to make it waterproof, the heat has a harder time escaping the housing. Give the unit some breathing room. If you cram it into a tight custom box, the internal heat sinks can’t do their job, and the thermal safety switch will probably trip. Also, do yourself a favor and use high-temperature cables. You don’t want your insulation melting near the chassis. Keep it airy, keep it wired right, and you’re good to go.
